Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in 100 days
As every year since 25 years FEVR will again be active on the 3rd Sunday of November, World Day of Remembrance
Together with members and friends we plan some activities either virtual or real around Sunday the 15th of November
FEVR had proposed and developed the slogans during the past decade, year by year and related to one of the 5 pillars of theUN Decade of Action for Road SAfety
From Global Remembrance to Global Action
Pillars of the DoA are
- Road Safety Management
- Safe roads
- Safe vehicles and mobility
- Safe users
- Post Crash Response
this 5th Pillar is especially important to Road Victims
Next Decade
What will the next decade 2020-2030 bring
advancing a big step towards Vision Zero, no more killed and seriously injured in road traffic
How will the World Day be developed and WHO will be responsible for the organisation?
FEVR president Jeannot Mersch
will we soon have more road safety stakeholders than Road Victims involved in Remembrance business by advocating and organising "our" World Day ?
In the past this happened in several countries where Road Safety Organisations wanted to make profit out of the WDoR
