The UN General Assembly just proclaimed 2021-2030 as the Second Decade of Action for Road Safety with the ambitious target of preventing 50% of road traffic deaths & injuries
Post Crash Response should stay high on the agenda and the Day of Remembrance is also not forgotten by the UN
We Hope that this Decade with action will be of more satisfaction then the previous one

provide early rehabilitation and social reintegration to persons with injuries and disabilities caused by road traffic crashes and comprehensive support to victims of road traffic crashes and their families.
22. Encourages Member States to strengthen pre-hospital care, including emergency health services and the immediate post-crash response hospital and ambulatory guidelines for trauma care and rehabilitation services

Recognizing also Member States and all stakeholders, including civil society, for their continued commitment to road safety, as demonstrated by their observance of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
21. Invites Member States to develop and implement appropriate social marketing campaigns to raise awareness and commemorate the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on the third Sunday of November every year;
