European Parliament 20.2.2018

FEVR wants to thank Georges Bach, MEP and member of the European Parliament transport committee with a certificate of appreciation for his support to Road Traffic Victims and World Day of Remembrance.

Link Koch report Road Safety 2010-2020

Georges Bach had amended the EP Parliament report on road safety with article12. Calls on the Commission and Member States officially to recognise the third Sunday in November as the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, as the United Nations and World Health Organisation have already done, in order to raise public awareness of this issue;

We are grateful to Mr Bach and his collueges in the Transport Committee to have included this important topic for road safety and for Road Traffic Victims in the report and hope hat finally all member states will follow. (President J.Mersch)
